DAMPBLOCK was founded to fill this gap, and enables landlords to access streamlined property preservation services.

My experience in property management has given us an in-depth understanding on how different tenant’s lifestyles can contribute to moisture problems, allowing for a holistic approach to defining the issues being faced and delivering an all-round service to repair and prevent further issues.

After a few years of providing hands-on property maintenance services for landlords across the North West, I crossed paths with other damp proofing companies on projects and noticed that they were mostly stand alone providers, not offering to undertake much of the prep or reinstatement works upon completion of the damp proofing.

This resulted in landlords having to chase multiple providers, securing plumbers to remove and rehang radiators, joiners to re-install skirtings and architraves, decorators to paint, and a handyman for the snags.

Engaging in multiple trades clearly resulted in the job being protracted, costing more, and causing a lot more frustration for the tenants who would have to be available on different dates for an extended period of time.

DAMPBLOCK was co-founded to offer a fully comprehensive preservation and remedial service. Our team handles every aspect of the project, from removal of radiators and required joinery works, to the final decorating and snagging, and everything in between.
